Commonly used in Latin cooking, specifically to make tamales, corn husks can also be used as a natural wrapping for meat, fish, and other fillings before steaming, baking or grilling. The husks impart a very subtle corn flavour and protect the food inside from direct heat. Soak the husks in water to soften before filling and dispose (or compost!) after use.
