Kid’s “Small Fries” 8-Week Series

About the class

Do you have a few keen and curious young cooks (age 10+) in your family? If they’re itching to get into the kitchen, our 8-week Small Fries cookery course could be the solution!

It is our aim to provide your child with the skills, know-how and confidence to comfortably navigate their way around the kitchen – and to maybe even give you a couple of nights a week off cooking duty!

Cooking classes for children are an investment in their health and their future. We take teaching your children very seriously. We have carefully designed our ‘Small Fries’ cooking classes to be both educational and fun. During the 8 weeks we will be covering –

  1. Introduction, Safety & Hygiene, Knife Skills and Kitchen Equipment
  2. Japanese
  3. French
  4. Italian
  5. Mexican
  6. Baking
  7. Pasta Perfection Challenge
  8. Presentation Night and Celebration Dinner

Small Fries runs for 8 weeks, with each class falling on a Monday evening from 4:45PM – 7:00PM. The cost of the series is $760, GST included ($95 per class). There is also a one-time Toolbox fee of $120 that includes a mini-chefs kit and apron. This is yours to keep at the conclusion of the course. You must bring the toolbox to each Monday night class to use.
