Cake Boi presents his Passionfruit Tart (Morning)
You’ve seen him on Masterchef, you’ve marveled at his cakes and now Cake Boi is back to teach you how to create his Passionfruit Tart at the Essential Ingredient Newcastle!
From 10:00am – 12:30pm on Sunday 21st March, Reece Hignell (AKA Cake Boi) is leading a cooking class to teach you how to re-create his summery Passionfruit Tart.
Each guest will firstly get hands-on and make their own sweet tart crust for the Passionfruit Tart. Next Reece is going to demonstrate how to make a Passionfruit curd filling. Finally we will finish the class with a brief Q&A with the Cake Boi himself, over a glass of rosé.
Each guest will also get to take home their own freshly-baked tart as well as a 23cm tart tin.

To Do List:
- Wear closed toe shoes (we love your toes where they are),
- Pull long hair back off your face (“waiter, there’s a hair in my soup”),
- Inform us of any dietary requirements prior to purchasing your ticket/s. Please also be aware that some requirements and/or allergies cannot be catered to – depending on the class.
- Please bring a Tupperware container to put your tart in, as we will no longer handing out plastic containers.
