Made in the Northern Isles of Scotland using traditional methods and Orcadian ingredients, Orkney Craft Vinegars are raw, unpasteurised, unfiltered, and bottled with the mother. Aged in oak barrels for up to a year, these unique vinegars are softer than most mass-produced vinegars but are still flavourful and can be used in a variety of different dishes.
This malt vinegar is made with barley and peated malt and has been aged in sherry seasoned whisky casks from Scottish distillery Highland Park. With notes of heather honey, this vinegar can be used to make a sauce for roast chicken or pork belly, splash on spicy cooked chorizo or make a dressing for a pear and walnut salad.
