We are delighted to introduce you to what we hope will be the first in a Yum Cha inspired series YUM YUM CHA : Dumplings, presented by Sabrina herself.
Softly spoken, unpretentious and super creative, Sabrina spent years building the business with her husband and family. When they sold in July the loss was felt by flavour savvy Novocastrians far and wide, and we are hoping in some small way to bring it back, because here at Essential Ingredient Newcastle we believe that tastebuds shouldn’t suffer needlessly.
Allow Sabrina to guide you through her own special Chinese dumpling dough from scratch (just as she did at every meal service) along with her secret potato and beef filling and a prawn filling. Learn the ins and outs of the perfect fold and how to cook them to perfection – both steamed and fried.
