Market to Table Cooking
Do you dream of walking through markets in France and Italy? Collecting your bounty of perfect produce to take back to your apartment, then cooking a veritable feast? Well dream no more with our Market to Table Cooking class hosted by Chef Paul Niddrie
Over the course of five luxurious hours we will traverse the stalls of the Newcastle City Farmer’s market, seeking out the best it has to offer. Chef Paul will show you how to select the best produce, pair flavours, plan a menu on the fly and then create incredible dishes with what we’ve bought.
We’ll begin our day at 8:00AM, where you’ll meet us with your own transportation. We will then wander the market hunting down our ingredients. At 9:00AM we will move back to the Essential Ingredient cooking school to begin planning, prepping and cooking. Once we are done we will tuck in for a seasonal banquet with a glass of wine in hand.

- Wear closed toe shoes that are comfortable for walking and standing in. No sandals, thongs or heels please.
- Pull long hair back off your face.
- Bring Tupperware with you as we will no longer be providing plastic containers to customers in the event of leftovers.
