A Taste Of Terroir – France
Take an exciting journey with us through the gastronomic epicentre of the world, France!
In this demonstration-style class, chef Kelly Syms will unveil the mysteries of this gorgeous land of wine and food, and in the month of Bastille Day no less!
Kelly will demystify French wine labels and explore a few of the more distinguished wines and wine regions of France. We will sample some hidden (wine) gems from Alsace, Burgundy and Bordeaux.
Learn about the magic of terroir; how the climate, soil, grape variety and vineyard aspect can influence and distinguish one wine from another.
We will also offer three beautifully rustic, classic French courses to perfectly pair with our wines, with live demos, and ‘how to’s’ from our chef as she focuses on terroir in the sense of “What grows together goes together” See what all the hype is about and fall in love with the old world!
