Thanks to everyone who took the time to enter our competition to win one of three Ottolenghi Flavour Collections, bringing together a copy of Yotam Ottolenghi’s latest book with a collection of the incredible ingredients mentioned within (you can see all the collections available here…).
We asked entrants to tell us their favourite recipe from a cookbook, and which book it came from, and the winners inspired us to seek out and try all their favourites:
Emma from Hobart: ‘XO butter noodles with abalone from Analiese Gregory’s book How Wild Things Are. I’ve made them with prawns, pork and cray too. Delicious!’
Roshni from Greater Sydney: ‘Awadhi Lamb Biryani’ from ‘Dishoom’ (By Shamil Thakrar, Kavi Thakrar, Naved Nasir) – the authenticity, the smell and taste of saffron, rosewater, lime and lamb…’
Anne from Campsie: ‘Barbecued Sumac and Thyme scented Chicken from Saha by Greg & Lucy Malouf’
