Christmas Caper 2018

It’s our last Christmas Caper here at our Rozelle store, so we are going to make this one our biggest yet. We’ve invited the people behind some of our most loved brands, so that you can experience first hand how better quality ingredients and kitchen tools can bring your festive season to life. This is a shopping event like no other with oodles of product tastings, cooking demonstrations throughout the night and our biggest ever door prize giveaways. Read on to find out more about our favourite event on the calendar.


Le Creuset Cooking Demonstration with Sofia Lunel

Join the always entertaining Sofia Lunel from Le Creuset as she shows you how to put a light summer spin on the classic Terrine. Sit back and relax as Sofia shows you just how easy it is to make a showstopping smoked salmon and aspargus terrine for your Christmas table. And if you have ever wondered how you can take better advantage of Le Creuset’s quality-made cast iron pieces  this is your chance to have all your questions answered.

Sofia will also be preparing some delicious gingerbread cookies and a spicy mulled wine.

The Big Paella

It wouldn’t be an Essential Christmas caper without The Big Paella. Ricardo Zaratustra is back for Rozelle’s favourite free feed to walk you step-by-step through the process of making the perfect Spanish paella at home. Using some of our favourite Spanish ingredients Ricardo will saute, simmer, stir and steam his giant paella into delicious aromatic perfection over the course of an hour giving you plenty of time to not only drool, but also ask Ricardo for solutions to your paella problems.

Herbie’s Simply Delicious Dips

Wondering what to do with your ever growing selection of Herbie’s Spice packs? Ian ‘Herbie’ Hemphill will show you how with just a few ingredients and some Herbie’s spice and spice blends, you can create simple delicious dips and spreads that will take pride of place on those lazy summer day grazing platters.

Herbie & wife Liz will also share with you their secret recipe for creating a Christmas themed Kir royale using whole spice.

Guests will be able to pre-order there BackVintage wines in store to be delivered just in time or Christmas.

We really do hope you can join us for our last soiree in Rozelle. Tastings and product demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the night, while our Herbie’s and Le Creuset demonstrations will happen between 6PM and 7PM. 

There will be a 10% discount on purchases made on the night. Some exclusions apply.

The LUCKY DOOR PRIZE will be drawn at 7:45PM
